internet, we are hoping to be able to achieve the exposure that we need
without a sizeable campaign budget. At this point, we do not plan to accept
direct sponsorships or funding from any individuals or organizations.
Again, this goes back to our philosophy of simplicity. We believe that
direct funding from any party to this website will only breed complications
and may compromise the integrity of our goals. Once the issue of money
is brought into the picture, our group will have to deal with issues of
accountability, allocation of funds, disclosures and all the administrative
nightmares that come with it.
For those who wish to contribute financially to our campaign, it is recommended that you DEAL DIRECTLY WITH THE VENDOR and pay for expenses that the group may otherwise have to incur. For example, you can advertise in your local newspaper for our campaign. We will supply a standard message for the advertisement. You are welcome to include your entity's name as the sponsor in the advertisement. This way, you deal directly with your local newspaper and there is no money flowing into this website or any individual within the group. |
